This<br \/>\nis most commonly nails, screws, and wire.<\/p>\n<p>For travel distances over 20 miles a one time setup fee may apply.<\/p>\n<p>Payment by cash or personal check will be expected upon completion of the saw job.<\/p>\n<p>Log\/Lumber Yield:<br \/>\nA board foot is defined as being 1\u201d thick and 12\u201d wide and 12\u201d long or 144 cubic inches of wood. So a board 1\u201d<br \/>\nthick by 12\u201d wide by 8\u2019 long contains 8 board feet. A standard 2X4 &#8211; 8\u2019 stud contains 5.3 board feet.<\/p>\n<p>Since my sawmill uses a 1\/8\u201d thick blade instead of the normal \u00bc\u201d commercial sawmill blade, your actual<br \/>\nlumber yield will generally be greater that Doyle scaled logs.<\/p>\n<p>Air Drying Lumber:<br \/>\nGetting rid of the moisture in lumber requires sticker stacking and good air circulation. Lumber should be sticker<br \/>\nstacked soon after milling.
